Description:

From Evanston Bluegrass Festival Website:

The 2017 Evanston Bluegrass Festival (formerly Beer, Brat & Bluegrass) is a two-day festival held at beautiful and historic Depot Square in downtown Evanston, Wyoming. This years festival will be held on Friday, June 23rd from 5:30pm 10pm and Saturday, June 24th from 11am to 11pm.

We have new, exciting features this year. We will kick off the festival on Friday evening with a house concert and dinner in the Beeman Cashin building. The audience will enjoy an interactive event filled with music and storytelling in a comfortable, intimate environment with An Evening with Jalan Crossland with special guest C. Peter Fennell. The socially conscious company, Solavore, will treat guests to a specially prepared meal cooked by the sun in their innovative solar ovens.

On Saturday, the festival moves to the lawn and performers will entertain the audience from the professional outdoor stage. A diverse group of award winning bluegrass musicians have been selected to perform this year. Their styles range from traditional bluegrass, Celtic bluegrass to progressive bluegrass. Whiskey Slaps, Wild Mountain, Dodgy Mountain Men, The Two Tracks, Whippoorwill and headliners, Blue Canyon Boys and Brothers Comatose are among the lineup for 2017. Music from these nationally and regionally acclaimed bands will fill the air in this beautiful, and uniquely Evanston, setting. Artists, from jewelry makers, to basket weavers and painters, will be selling their wares. And, of course, there will be food booths to satisfy every taste and a beer and wine garden serving handcrafted microbrews, domestic beers and wine throughout the day.
